For a couple of reasons, I have deactivated email notifications from this site. The main reason is that spammers seem to have found us, and they are posting spam to our forums. It is easy enough to just delete the spam posts, but with the automatic notifications turned on, everyone has already gotten their spam in email. The other reason is that Hotmail and Yahoo consider all email from this site to be spam anyway, and I am hoping if we don't send email for a while, they will forget about it. Then maybe a revamped notification thing can be put in place.

Hotmail and Yahoo mail have stopped accepting email from this site. If you would like to receive notification of events or other new posts on this site, you will need to use a different email address. Gmail seems to be working fine. Yahoo and Hotmail seem to have decided that the notifications are spam. I talked to someone at Hotmail (Microsoft), who removed us from their spam lists, but a few days later we are blacklisted again. I haven't got the time or energy to keep convincing corporate drones that BDSM does not equal spam.

Well, all of a sudden the Yahoo group, which we were just starting to use again, went and disappeared. Not sure why, as I wasn't one of the Moderators, and I don't know them. We are looking into options, but at the moment, this site and the HawaiiBDSM yahoo group are probably the best solution.

We'll try to post events and activities to both.
