The Jaded Edge Club is Retiring

Aloha E,

Dearest friends and family in the Hawai`i State Alternative Lifestyle Community.

We are sadly announcing the retirement of The Jaded Edge Club, Hawai`i's first SSC Drug and Alcohol Free Open Play Party.

Both of our Co-facilitators AlohaChief and Misstress D have been suffering from illness this past year. As we realized it was time to slow down some wonderful new experiences in our Metaphysical and Spiritual Communities opened up and beckoned. They have chosen new directions.

The others in our Cooperative have chosen not to take the lead, and so we are releasing our responsibility to the community. There are now several folks putting on events, some in our estimation are quite responsible, sensible and downright fun to go to. We wish them well.

The past six years have been simply amazing. We opened our hearts, pocketbooks, portable equipment and Playcases with glee and fervor. We were privileged to Scene with awesome Newbies and wyld Oldtimers of every lifestyle choice in the BDSM Spectrum of experience. We had so many great volunteers along the way. Some stayed for the duration, and some only lasted the night. We trained and initiated folks in all roles and aspects of a first class open event. We hope our legacy Of SSC, the Grandmother of all modern BDSM Safer Lifestyle choices, will carry on and continue to nurture compassion, tolerance, and wisdom in the Hawai`i State Alternative Lifestyle Community.

Long past due hello to my family!

Hey
I just wanted to pop in here and say hello to all of you. I miss you all tons! A little update, I've landed in Tumwater, WA and am planning on living here for awhile. Of course a visit to maui is in my plans, but we'll see when there is time. I hope everything is going very very well for all of you! If anyone would like to keep in touch I would be more than excited to hear from you. Email me at Kelly@LlyDesign.com

Much Loves,
Kelly :D

Thank you...

I just wanted to say thank you to those I met, who welcomed me at the demo and subsequent play party. Despite my apparent reserve, I really did feel the warmth of your acceptance. And I particularly thank Emme for being such a wonderful hostess and looking out for me. I didn't expect to participate, but it was a good experience, being a relative newbie and all.
