Toys for Tops?
I know it was discussed briefly about having some sort of a workshop for learning to make some personal Toys for playtime at the November Munch, however, there was no real plans set into motion to make this happen. I would be very interested in having a workshop or even a D.I.Y get-together where we make something. I know my problem is having the right tools for the job. If we could network a little more, I am sure we could come up with a plan, a price and a place.

Building Toys
As I recall, there was a concern expressed that some toys might get made (and used) that weren't safe. That said, I'd be interested. That said, I haven't got a clue how to purchase leather on Maui. I know there isn't a Tandy Leather here, or even on Oahu.
Who would know?
on this site there is a member who goes by, "toymaker", he would be the one to get this ball rolling. He knows where to find things for making toys. I bet if we asked really nice and promised to be "bad" with our newly made toys, he might help us out.
Leathers
Leather is easy enough depending on the colors picked, type of hide and the things being made. Average hide is 54 square feet so plenty for most group projects. I was actually thinking we should start out with a rope mop and maybe some paddle designs. That way we can get a feel for who is comfortable doing what before we get off into larger projects.

Xmas Gifts
Toymaker brought really cool gifts for all to the December munch. Koa paddles, leather cuffs. I got an incredibly beautiful leather & fur lined paddle. It makes for really nice sensations.

It's been pushed to the latter part of next month.
I'll put up an announcement after Lee's classes are over. Lee kindly added an extra class @ 1pm - Beyond Bowed Heads: Rituals for Dominance and submission and at 4pm - An Introduction to Asian Aesthetic Bondage.
