Wax me
I am interested in finding out more about finding candles with low temperature wax for first time wax play. I am not sure what type of candles are low temp. and if there is a place to find them that is not an adult store. If you have suggestions please post. Many thanks.

birthday candles are low temp softer the wax low the temp so cheap candles most of the time are low temp.

You can find specialty candles just for this on many adult/bdsm/fetish store websites. I recommend googling it.
parafin wax is the best

go to any hardware store or Long's Drugs and get simply white paraffin wax household candles. the box is usually navy blue and should be long burning. long burning candles always ignite and burn at a lower heat. it's still plany to get the feeling you are looking for :)always avoid color and fragrance as they burn hotter. hope that helps as i'm speaking from years of experience :) happy waxing :)
